Personnel Concepts

Leading publisher of workplace information posters and other human resources products for small to medium-sized businesses in the U.S. via direct mail and online marketing programs.  Parallel worked with the founder to install a completely new management team and enhance the sophistication of its marketing efforts.  The company was sold to Brady Corporation (NYSE: BRC) in 2006.

 

Quartermaster

Leading provider of uniforms and accessories to security guards, law enforcement officers and public safety professionals through catalog, online, direct sales and retail channels.  Parallel worked with the founder to build upon the existing management team, open additional retail stores and enhance the sophistication of the catalog, e-commerce and direct sales channels to drive significant revenue and EBITDA growth. Quartermaster was successfully sold to industry leader Galls, Inc. in 2012.

 

Action Sports Media

Provides niche collegiate sports marketing services, specializing in athletic venue media rights.  Parallel partnered with the CEO to buy the company, solidify its relationships with its college partners and develop new college sports marketing platforms.  Action significantly enhanced the value of its collegiate outdoor marketing properties before selling the core properties in a series of transactions.
